The swimming and diving season came to a close for Lake Forest High School Friday, Feb. 22, at the IHSA championships in Winnetka.

Juniors Luke Lanigan and Oliver Akintade and sophomore Colin Kingsley got to see race some of the fastest swimmers in Illinois. 

Lanigan qualifies for the meet in two events, the 100- and 200-yard freestyles, finishing in 48.11 seconds and 1 minute 46.26 seconds, respectively.
