Although Lake Forest has a few players that earned significant varsity minutes a season ago, the Scouts are an inexperienced squad. A team with little varsity experience tends to go through some growing pains.

That’s just what Lake Forest (3-5, 0-2 NSC) experienced on Friday, Dec. 13, in a conference matchup at Lake Zurich. The game was close throughout but the Scouts struggled to get much going on the offensive end, turning the ball over 16 times and being held to just two points in the fourth quarter in a 42-35 loss.
