On the third Monday of January each year, the nation gathers to celebrate and remember the legacy of a minister from Atlanta, Ga.

That’s the simplest version of the story. On Monday, Jan. 18, Lake Forest College was determined to tell the complex, complete version of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legend when it hosted its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Program in the Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel.
