The Lake Forest football team was less than six minutes away from being eliminated from playoff contention Friday, Oct. 6, at Zion-Benton.

But the Scouts showed a lot of fight in the fourth quarter, breaking their four-game losing streak and, for the time being, keeping their postseason hopes alive.

Lake Forest (3-4, 1-4) scored 14 points in under six minutes, rallying late to defeat the Zee-Bees 14-8.
